Alongside diving and boat tours, Santorini's beach resort towns run the usual range of organised watersports — most concentrated at Kamari and Perissa, where the flatter coastline and organised beach infrastructure make them easier to operate than the steep caldera-side coastline.
What's typically on offer
Parasailing, jet ski rental, banana boat rides and stand-up paddleboarding are all commonly available from beachfront operators at Kamari and Perissa in season, generally booked directly on the beach or through your hotel rather than needing advance reservation, though peak-season afternoons can get busy.
Wind conditions
As with boat tours and diving, the meltemi wind (strongest in July and August) can pause watersports operations for safety on windier days — build some flexibility into your plans if a specific activity matters to you, rather than saving it for your only free afternoon.
Where not to expect it
The caldera-side coastline — Oia, Fira, Imerovigli — has no real beach infrastructure for these activities; watersports here are specifically an east-coast (or south-coast, at Vlychada) activity, not a caldera one.
