What to expect

Villas range from simple studios with a kitchenette to multi-bedroom clifftop properties with a private infinity pool. Many are converted traditional cave houses, which keeps them naturally cool in summer. Service levels vary far more than at branded hotels — some come with daily housekeeping and concierge-style help, others are simply a well-equipped self-catered space with a check-in call.

Where villas cluster

Oia and Imerovigli have the highest concentration of caldera-view villas; Pyrgos and Megalochori offer a quieter, more residential alternative with easier parking, at a lower price point, without caldera views.
